More than two thousand people are present at the Nausori Crime Free launch which is currently underway at Syria Park.
Nausori Crime Free Secretariat's Sergeant Randhir Prasad said they are working with the Nausori Town Council, the business houses and the people to declare Nausori a crime free town.
Nausori will be declared crime free on the 11th of next month while the launching is being done today.
People can also get free medical check-ups at Syria Park during the launch.
A march was conducted from Ratu Cakobau Park to Syria Park with school students, villagers, police officers and business houses taking part this morning.
