Nausori Police are in the process of questioning a suspect with regards to the hit and run which caused the death of a nine year old boy in Nausori yesterday.
The suspect was apprehended today at around mid day after Police carried out a few enquiries and they expect to lay charges against the suspect this afternoon.
The incident happened in Koronivia Nausori yeasterday at around 5pm while the young boy was walking along the road. The driver failed to stop after the incident.
The boy was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
