Nausori police are investigating a fire that destroyed a four bedroom house in Vuci, Nausori, last night.

Police confirmed that the house was vacant at the time of the fire.

Meanwhile, fire investigators are expected to carry out investigations tomorrow to determine the cause of the fire and the estimated cost of damages.

Meanwhile, the driver believed to be at fault in the horrific head on collision in Navua last week, which involved a 10-year-old girl who was a passenger in the other car, are both in serious condition at the CWM hospital.

General Manager CWM Hospital, Dr Eloni Tora told Fijivillage that the driver underwent surgery and is still recovering while the 10-year-old kid is still in a stable condition.
   
Dr Tora could not confirm when the driver will be discharged.

Police have confirmed the driver will be released once he is out of hospital.

The head on collision caused the death of a 29-year-old woman.
