The Nausori Airport is still closed.
This has been confirmed by Airports Fiji Limited Nausori Manager Timoci Ravanua, who said while water outside the terminal is receeding they will not open the airport just yet.
Ravanua said following a meeting with Air Fiji and Air Pacific they have agreed to cancel all flights as the slippery runway will be a major risk to passengers. He adds that they will be reassessing the situation at around lunch time today.
