Coach Jo Savou after naming his starting line-up to face Australia, is confident of making amends from last weeks loss, knowing they are the defending champions.
Although the side is not rated as favorites, Savou maintains he has faith in the team.
Captain Etonia Naba will lead the side in the forwards with Epeli Vuniwaqa and Viliame Maya.
Fiji will need to win all of their 3 pool matches against Australia, West Indies and Samoa to avoid a 1/4 final showdown with New Zealand.
Fiji's first game at 8.12am on Sunday will be against Australia.
Then Fiji takes on West Indies at 11.18, and their last game is at 2.46 in the afternoon against Samoa.
