The Fiji Football Association will hold its board meeting this Saturday where the issue regarding the declaration of the National soccer league winner for last year will be discussed.

Fiji FA's Chief Executive, Bob Kumar said this is an issue which needs to be resolved as soon as possible however they are yet to receive a reply from FIFA regarding a matter which surfaced during the Courts IDC last year.

The Lautoka soccer association had claimed that a decision on their protest against Rewa in the National soccer league was pending and should the decision go in their favor, Lautoka will win the league title.

Fiji FA is seeking help from FIFA to ascertain whether the player Rewa fielded against Lautoka had provided proper clearance.

Saturday's meeting may give a clear picture as to where the Fiji FA is heading in relation to the issue.

Meanwhile, in the Champions league matches tomorrow, Rewa takes on Navua at 6.30pm at Ratu Cakobau Park while at 7pm, Ba plays Lautoka at Churchill park.
