National Soccer Team Director Tarunesh Reddy has confirmed that the players from the National Team will not be released to play for their respective districts in the Vodafone Premier League.
Reddy says that national soccer team is currently preparing for the Oceania Nations Cup which will be held in Papua New Guinea
He says the players will return to the camp today.
The Vodafone Fiji Soccer team is pooled with New Zealand, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.
The Oceania Nations Cup will be played from the 28th of May to the 11th of June in Papua New Guinea.
Fiji will play its first game against New Zealand on the 28th of May.
The winner of the competition will qualify for the FIFA Confederation Cup while the top six finishing teams will get a place to play in the stage three qualification of the FIFA World Cup.
