The national U-23 soccer team is fully aware that a spot in the Olympic play-offs will be up for grabs in their opening pool game against New Zealand on Saturday afternoon.

The Carlos Buzetti coached side who have lost some of their key players due to suspensions earlier on, is out to create history by becoming the first Fiji soccer team to play in the Olympics.

Speaking to Village Sports, Buzetti said the message in training to his players is for them to believe in themselves that they can beat the Kiwis.
