The 2012 GP Batteries Fiji Sun National Soccer League competition format is highly likely to be changed.
The league has been postponed yet again as the parent soccer body is holding an urgent meeting this Saturday with its sponsor to learn more about the Oceania Football Confederation’s directives given to the Fiji FA.
Fijivillage understands that Fiji FA may only stage the first round of league games and the second round may start in September.
League Board Chairman, Sheik Ibrahim said the OFC wants the Fiji soccer calendar to get in line with the OFC format.
All soccer district officials will also be attending the meeting on Saturday at the Fiji FA headquarters in Vatuwaqa.
