National 7s team win opener
The Digicel Fiji 7s has started their opening game in the Wellington 7s on a high note beating Wales 40 points to 7.
Wales scored first to lead 7-0 before Setefano Cakau scored two brilliant tries to come back for a 12-7 lead before Dan Rawaqa increased Fiji's lead to 19-7 at half time.
In the second half Fiji scored three more tries to Emosi Vucago, Etonia Naba and Tomasi Mawi.
The young side was a bit nervous in the start committing basic mistakes and missing tackles which resulted in Wales scoring its only try in the first minute of play.
But the team became more composed after a few runs and the confidence of of Cakau was evident with two brilliant tries.
Fiji's second game is at 4:24pm against Cook Islands.
