South African based Digicel Fiji 7's utility player, Akuila Nawerecagi feels that the National 7's team is prepared to take on the best team at the Wellington 7's.

Speaking to Village Sports, Nawerecagi said that although 8 of the 12 players will be going to New Zealand for the first time, it will not affect their performance.

The Navatusila lad from Navosa, believes that Coach Josateki Savou has moulded the team well to be in top shape for next Friday's opening pool game against Wales.

Fiji's opening pool game will be against Wales at 1.28pm next Friday, followed by the game against Cook Islands at 4.24pm and the last pool game will be at 8.34pm against England.
