After much controversy and uncertainty, the multimillion dollar Natadola Bay Resort and golf course was officially opened last night in the presence of hundreds of invited guests.
The 400 room resort, funded by the Fiji National Provident Fund is expected to employ more than 400 local workers and cost around $240 million to construct.
Speaking at the official opening of the multimillion dollar Natadola Bay Resort last night, Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama said they want to ensure that the tourism dollar is spread accross all sectors of society.
