The Fiji Police Force is unaware by when the investigation against Assistant Police Commissioner Crime, Nasir Ali will be completed.
Deputy Police Commissioner, Eroni Antonio confirms that Ali has taken two days leave however it has nothing to do with investigation against him. He said Ali has been assigned special duties pending investigations against him.
A special team has been assigned to investigate Ali after further allegations were leveled against him.
Police are tightlipped on the progress of the investigations so far, saying it’s an internal matter.
It is also alleged that officers of the police strike back team also lodged complaints against Nasir Ali saying that he sent them on leave for not following certain orders.
Ali could not be reached for comments.
