The Nasinu soccer team will play in the promotion relegation series this year after Fiji Football ruled a protest in favor of Tavua earlier this week.

Fiji FA Chief Executive, Bob Kumar confirms that the protest Tavua had lodged against Navua was awarded to Tavua, as the Fiji FA Board found Navua had fielded some unregistered players in the league fixture.

After this decision, Tavua now sits on 17 points while Nasinu has dropped to the bottom place of the New World National Soccer League table with 14 points.

Nasinu will now play the winner of the premier division on a home and away basis.
