Residents living in most parts of the Nasinu area are still without water.
Valelevu, Navei-wakau, Cunningham and Tacirua Heights have been facing water cuts throughout last weekend and were told by the water department that they will get water at 4pm yesterday.
Cunningham resident Mereani Sogo said that when they called the complaints centre in Wailoku on Sunday they were told that a power black-out has forced the Wainibuku water pump to shut down.
But yesterday she was told that there is a low water level at the Tovata system which is affecting the distribution of water to these areas.
Sogo added that the water department should come out clean on the problems they are facing.
The Central/ Eastern division Water Supply Chief Engineer Samuela Tubui is yet to comment.
