A crime free society provides all the necessary elements required for growth and prosperity.
That was the message made by Minister for Lands and Minerals Netani Sukanaivalu as chief guest at the declaration of Nasinu as a crime free town yesterday.
Addressing over 200 students, Nasinu residents and invited guests that gathered to witness the occasion, Sukanaivalu said a crime free society is the ultimatum social order that every society strides for whether it be spearheaded by community leaders or driven by authorities.
He also said criminal activities have had a costly effect for everyone and it cost life time effects and even loss of life.
The celebration was held at the Valelevu grounds yesterday.
