The Local Government and Urban Development Ministry is still investigating the affairs of the Nasinu Town Council on the allegations of misuse of funds.
Interim Local Government Minister Jone Navakamocea said he is still waiting a report on the investigation from the ministry’s investigators.
The council is dominated by FLP councilors and some SDL councilors alleged some mismanagement in council earlier this year. These councilors allege that Nasinu Mayor Rajeshwar Kumar is using the council's vehicle on a twenty four hour basis and is also misusing council's funds.
