The Nasinu soccer association has threatened to boycott Courts Inter District Championship if its plea is not taken into consideration and the Fiji Football remains adamant to demote two teams from the Super Premier Division next year.
Patron and Administrator, Sadasivan Naicker said Fiji FA cannot go ahead and demote two teams as no council member seconded the motion to demote two teams from the Super Premier Division.
Naicker said Nasinu will have its Special General meeting soon and will decide whether Nasinu will be part of Fiji FA.
Naicker said Nasinu will move a motion in Fiji FA's Annual General meeting before the IDC for Nasinu to remain in the Super Premier Division.
According to Naicker, if Fiji FA does not consider their plea, then Nasinu soccer association will be left with no option but to boycott Courts IDC.
Meanwhile, Fiji FA's Chief Executive, Bob Kumar said if Nasinu wants to boycott IDC then it’s their choice.
He adds Fiji FA will not further comment on the matter.
