Nasinu Secondary school has defended its Remington Shield in style in the Southern Zone Secondary schools rugby yesterday.

Nasinu Secondary beat Latter Day Saints 39-6.

The Suva Grammar Under-18 rugby team has also qualified for the semi-finals of the Southern Zone.

Grammar beat Nabua Secondary 25-7 yesterday afternoon.

The Assemblies of God Under-18 rugby also continued to shine in the Southern Zone after a 25-15 win over Laucala Bay Secondary in the quarter-finals.

In other Under-18 matches, Marist Brothers High beat John Wesley College 23-5.

In the Under 16 grade, Suva Grammar beat AOG 24-0, Laucala Bay Secondary beat Nasinu Secondary 13-8 and RSMS went down to Cathedral Secondary 10-5.

In the matches played on Friday, John Wesley beat Gospel High 35-0 in the Under-15 grade and Dudley High beat Marist Champagnat 41-8.

In the Under 17 grade, Laucala Bay Secondary went down to John Wesley Collage 19-10, Marist Brother High won against Kalabu High by default, RSMS beat Nasinu Secondary 9-6 and Dudley High beat Suva Grammar 15-10.
