In an attempt to collect over $8 million of overdue rates from defaulting ratepayers, the Nasinu Town Council has published names of some ratepayers today who haven't paid their rates for over eight years.
Deputy Mayor, Dhirendra Sardar said it’s a concern that some rate payers owe more than $6000 to the council.
He added the council is tired of sending reminder notices to these ratepayers who have shown no interest in paying their rates and it's time to take action.
