The Nasinu Police Station which was closed down a few months ago and was occupied by the Ready Action Unit, will now revert to a Police station.
Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Iowane Naivalurua made the decision after receiving complains from members of the public.
Residents from Narere, Makoi, Tuirara, Navosai and surrounding areas have had to travel to Valelevu Police Station to lodge a complaint.
The Commissioner taking this into account, decided to re-open the Police Station.
The Station will be officially opened by the Commissioner this afternoon at 5pm.
