Nasinu Out To Win
No-one has given them a chance to qualify from their pool and Association Secretary Navneel Kant said everything will depend on their opening match.
Nasinu is the only team that will field the youngest side in the tournament as all their players are aged 18-25.
On the other hand Tavua will have the upper-hand over Nasinu with many former experienced players from Lautoka joining the side. They will be led by former national rep Viliame Batidegei and are also hoping for a good start in the tournament.
Meanwhile, the opening game between Nasinu and Navua has just started.
Other matches today will see Vodafone Ba taking on Rewa at 6:15pm, then Lautoka plays Suva at 7:30pm and in the last match at 8:45pm Nadi meets Vodafone Labasa.
