Since 2000 Fiji Judokas have qualified to participate at the Olympic Games and this year Sisilia Nasiga is proud to be one of the only two Fiji athletes who has qualified on merit for the Beijing Olympic Games.
This is Sisi's second appearance at an Olympics and Section Manager Nacanieli Takaywa said they hope for the best as she will be competing in her National weight category.
Takayawa adds that Nasiga has been doing high level training at the Fukuoka Economic University in Japan for the last six years, and by far is the best prepared Judoka going into the Olympics with the best achievements and preparation.
