Fiji Trade and Investment Board chairman Francis Narayan has withdrawn his resignation after he had informed the interim government of his intentions to step aside last Thursday.
Narayan said there was some misunderstanding regarding his hands on approach to his role as FTIB chairman which has since been sorted out.
Narayan also confirmed that his contract as advisor to the Fiji National Provident Fund Board has expired and he will no longer serve on the FNPF Board.
A press conference was called this morning at the FTIB where Narayan was to announce his resignation.
However, the press conference was cancelled on the 11th hour following his decision to withdraw it.
