Stormers Super 14 wing Sireli Naqelevuki's inclusion in the Digicel Fiji 7s team for the George 7s is a relief for coach Iliesa Tanivula.

Naqelevuki brings with him a lot of experience in playing top level rugby in South Africa, and also as a former national 7s rep who played for Fiji in the first IRB 7s series win in 2007.

Tanivula is likely to use Naqelevuki in the forwards, where Fiji was under a lot of pressure last weekend, losing three of their scrums after Jerry Burotu was injured.

He could also be an option in the backline, where the likes of Osea Kolinisau, William Ryder and Jiuta Lutumailagi played below expectations and failed to make crucial tackles against New Zealand.

Fiji's starting line-up against Portugal in the opening pool game in South Africa at 12.10am on Saturday will be named on Thursday night.
