Former Stormers wing Sireli Naqelevuki will not play in the first Pacific Nations match against Japan as he will not arrive in Fiji on time for the game.

This has been confirmed to Fijivillage by team manager Semi Rogoyawa.

Naqelevuki was yesterday announced as the Vice-captain of the team, however, due to the circumstances that surround his late arrival either Joe Nasilasila or Epeli Ruivadra will come in to replace him.

Rgoyawa said that till this morning the team management is still awaiting the arrival of Clermont based winger, Napolioni Nalaga, who has arrived into the country, but is still yet to join the team at camp.

The final 15 to meet the Cherry Blossoms tomorrow will be determined straight after Nalaga joins the team at camp.

The Flying Fijians and Japan match kicks off at 3pm tomorrow at Churchill Park in Lautoka and you can catch a live-commentary of the match on our sister station Viti FM.
