The Flying Fijians 15s rugby team received a timely boost before leaving for Apia tonight when South African based, Sireli Naqelevuki joined the side in Nadi this morning.

Fiji Rugby Unions media liaison officer, Vilikesa Rinavuaka has confirmed that Naqelevuki had his first training session with the rest of the players this morning.

Naqelevuki did not make it on time last Saturday after he was stopped by Australian officials as he was a former member of the Fiji Navy.

Rinavuaka added that the side has also made two changes with Fiji Barbarians captain, Kelemedi Bola replacing Timoci Nagusa who is injured and will not be able to travel with the team to Apia.

Also coming into the side is Willam Saukuru who is replacing Napolioni Nalaga.

The Flying Fijians will jet out of Apia tonight and they will play their second PNC game against Tonga at 12.10pm Sunday.
