Fiji born wing Sireli Naqelevuki has parted ways with the Western Province team after his contract came to an end this season.

It also means that Naqelevuki will no longer play in the Stormers jumper in next year’s Super 15 competition.

He is expected to return to Fiji tomorrow as he has been named in the national team squad for the Pacific Nations Cup.

The Kadavu man produced some excellent performances during the Super 14 season with interest now generating from some European clubs.

The announcement was made by the Western Province team yesterday which also sees the return of former Springbok centre Jean de Villiers ahead of the Currie Cup.

Flyhalf Peter Grant will not be around for the Currie Cup season as he has been given leave to play in Japan.

Despite several excellent performances for the Stormers this year, Grant has not found favour with Springbok coach Peter de Villiers and was overlooked for recent Springbok squads.

Grant will, however, return to Cape Town for the Super 15 season next year.
