Exeter centre Sireli Naqelevuki will be out of action for at least six weeks after he broke his arm in Saturday’s 24-19 loss to Gloucester.

Naqelevuki, who is the club’s joint-top try scorer, injured himself in the match and was immediately sent to hospital.

Coach Rob Baxter said that Naqelevuki is going to be out for at least four-to-six weeks and if it’s anything worse than that then, that time lengthens.

Baxter hopes to have the 31-year-old available for his side’s back-to-back games against Newport Dragons in rounds three and four of the Amlin Challenge Cup in December.
