Fijian Sireli Naqelevuki will miss out selection in the Western Province team to meet Leopards in the Currie Cup clash at Newlands on Saturday morning.

Naqelevuki will join scrumhalf Dewalt Duvenage, after both suffered knee injuries in the match against the Free State Cheetahs last week, but their absence is not a major concern for the Province, as they have adequate replacements.

Conrad Hoffman will replace Naqelevuki, who is a gifted footballer and there have been indications that Province have plans of converting him to flyhalf sometime in the future.

Naqelevuki is expected to return after a three weeks rest.
