Former national 7's rep Sireli Naqelevuki was in impressive form scoring two tries and helping his South African based Super 14 franchise Stormers beat the Cheetahs 34-22.

Naqelevuki who has been in the Stormers run on team for the last 8 weeks showed that he will be force to reckon in the next 6 weeks as he split the Cheetahs back-line with his speed.

This match was far from it as both sides looked to run everything as each other in an entertaining spectacle of attacking rugby that kept the sold out Newlands crowd glued to the seats.

In other match, the Waratahs continued their run up to the top half of the Super 14 with a 17-12 win over the Western Force.

Also the Crusaders clicked into a higher gear in the second half to outscore the brave Lions by four tries to nil and prevail 31-6. Lions were leading 6-3 at half-time.

The Brumbies dealt the Blues Super 14 semi-final hopes a telling blow in Auckland last night with a 16-11 win.

The highest score of this week’s Super 14 competition was scored by the Hurricanes when they thrashed the Bulls this morning 50-22.
