Flying Fijians outside centre Sireli Naqelevuki has finally left for South Africa.

Naqelevuki was due to arrive in South Africa last month after the completion of IRB Pacific Nations Cup but had to stay back because of family commitments despite numerous calls from his Western Province Club.

The Stormers rugby coach Rassie Erasmus was in the country last week and when he left on Sunday, Naqelevuki also went with him after sorting out all his family commitments.

Western Province rugby official Gavin Lewis said Naqelevuki's return is a great boost to his side, who have so far struggled in the Currie Cup competition.

Naqelevuki is expected to join his club in training from tomorrow.
