Suva soccer team player, Esava Naqeleca is tipped to captain the National Under-23 team to the Olympic qualifiers in New Zealand this week.

The team will be announced this evening at the Ba soccer academy.

Naqeleca along with Archie Watkins, Akuila Mataisuva and Samuela Drudru are the most experienced players in the team and will be heavily relied on.

National team Director, Tarunesh Reddy said the competition will be stiff especially the Solomon's who are in their pool.
