Suva soccer defender Esava Naqeleca is being eyed to captain the Fiji soccer team to the Pacific games.
Team Director Anil Sharma said Naqeleca is one of the most disciplined players however players like Simione Tamanisau, Malakai Kainihewe and Taniela Waqa are also in line to lead the team.
The Fiji soccer team will leave for New Caledonia on Wednesday morning and will play its first match against Tahiti at 4pm this Saturday.
