Newly appointed Nadi soccer coach, Joseph Nand says he is ready to make a statement in local soccer.
Originally from Waiqele, Labasa, Nand coached the Nadroga soccer team for the last eight years and also guided the side to the semi-finals of the 2013 BOG and 2014 IDC.
Nand said people can also expect some changes in Nadi’s style of play.
Meanwhile, Nadi has also lost some renowned players in the player transfer window which includes National team goalkeeper, Beniamino Mateinaqara and Samuela Drudru.
The Jet-setters who last won the Fiji FACT in 2014 will have players like Antonio Tuivuna, William Valentine, Ame Votoniu, Lekima Gonerau, Napolioni Qasevakatini and Vereti Dickson.
Nadi will play Dreketi at 3pm this Friday at Subrail Park.
