The Tui Namosi, Ratu Suliano Matanitobua has stated that the people of Namosi will continue to support the Government and whatever initiatives it will bring about to steer them forward.
At the Namosi Provincial Council meeting, Ratu Suliano thanked the Roko Tui Namosi and his officers for executing what they were tasked to do over the last 10 months, assisting the people of Namosi, in line with government's intention in terms of development in the province.
He has commended government officials for their dedication and courage in reaching out to his people considering the geographical location of the villages in the province.
Ratu Suliano also issued a challenge to the people of Namosi and urged them to consume kava wisely and utilise resources like idle land for better returns to be able to send children to school.
He said parents need to pay attention on good education for their children, and time management is equally important, and if Namosi is to prosper in years to come, then parents and elders from the "vanua" need to put education as a priority.
