The Namosi 15s rugby side will run onto Prince Charles Park this afternoon as underdogs and with unknown players.

The side, which finished in second last spot in the Digicel Cup points table, will be led by dual international Waisale Suka at inside centre.

The rest of the 14 players will, for the first time be tested at top level of provincial rugby, where they will try to create history by beating Nadi at their home ground for the first time.

Former Namosi fullback Antonio Nariva, who was in the side that won the Farebrother Sullivan trophy from Ovalau in 2002, believes the side is ready to cause an upset in the opening challenge of the season.

Nariva said while they do not have the big names like Nadi, they have alot of guts to carry them through.

The Nadi and Namosi match will kick-off at 3pm and live commentary on our sister radio station Viti FM.
