They last time they had their hands on the Farebrother Sullivan trophy was in 2003 after beating Ovalau in the finals, 6 years later the Namosi 15s rugby team are hoping for the same results in the opening Farebrother Sullivan trophy challenge against Nadi.

But the Waisale Suka led side are aware of the fact that they have not tasted a win in Prince Charles Park since they were promoted to the major union in the early 1990's, a jinx which they will be out to end on Saturday.

On paper, holders Nadi will start as favorites, although they lost to Nadroga in the Digicel Cup final while Namosi will come in as underdogs and test the jetsetters in every aspect of the game.

Coach Iliesa Tanivula does not want a repeat of last week's performance and will rely on the likes of Ravuama Samo, Viliame Seuseu, Joe Sovau, Vima Tuidraki and Aporosa Vata for positive results this Saturday.

The Nadi and Namosi match will kick off on Saturday at 3pm at Prince Charles Park and a live commentary will be on Viti FM.
