Only four schools from Namosi will make up their district team in the two-day FMF Chow Games to kick off in Suva on Friday.

Team official, Saimoni Vuetaki said due to the rugged geographical locations and the distance between schools, most that used to take part have pulled out.

He added finance is also a contributing factor with most opting to concentrate on exams, to keep the students focused.

Vuetaki added with the small contingent they have, they prefer to keep a low profile, however, he has warned the other districts not to underestimate Namosi, though they may be less in numbers, they are sure to perform miracles during the competition.

19 Districts will be taking part in the two-day tournament which kicks off at the TFL stadium on Friday, which also includes a team from Tonga.

Suva won the Girls category last year with 20 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze medals while the boys took out 16 gold 6 silver and 10 bronze medals
