There are revelations today that four members of Namosi Provincial Council took a loan of $4 million from a local wholesaling company in 2005 to finance the Namosi House.

Provincial Council member and company head Kiniviliame Taukeinikoro has revealed for the first time today that the deal was signed by the wholesaling company in the presence of Public Service Commission officials four years ago and he said there is nothing sinister about the deal.

He said only a few people were trustees of the company and the whole of the province cannot sign as company trustees.

Taukeinikoro said the people of Namosi are aware of the deal.

He said they are likely to sign a deal with the wholesale company and commercial bank to pay off the loan.

It has also been confirmed that the total loan amount now stands at 6 million dollars with interest.
