First priority will be given to those families living in the Namara Settlement once development work is completed in Tamavua.
Acting CEO for the Housing Authority Alipate Naiorosui said they have only about 50 families still living in the settlement and they are still working out some plans for them but adds that they will be given the first chance to move back once development is completed.
The families of Solomon Islands descent were asked to move from their Tamavua Settlement to Waila after the Housing Authority identified their area was earmarked for development.
Naiorosui adds that this development plan is dependent on the $70 million loan from the Chinese Exim Bank but has kept a tight lip on their talks with the Chinese Officials.
Fijivillage understands that an official announcement will be made any time this week.
