Police are looking for five male suspects who robbed a 51 year old doctor of cash and other items worth more than $100,000 in Padamlala, Namadi Heights, Tamavua, yesterday morning.

According to Assistant Police spokesperson Corporal Suliano Tevita, the victim was alone at home when two of the suspects approached the doctor under the pretext of needing medical attention.

While examining one of the suspects in his garage, the other suspect requested a glass of water.

The suspects then followed him while three other accomplices turned up, over powered the doctor and tied him up with insulating tape before ransacking the house.

The suspects took cash, wrist watches, mobile phone, assorted jewellery and other valued items all valued at more than $100,000.

The suspects later fled with the items in a brown van.
