Nalotawa District School located in the interior of the Ba and Lautoka Pine belt is the latest beneficiary of Air Pacific's Wings of Hope Programme.

Wings of Hope, the charity and community arm of the national airline revealed it had purchased 120 school desks and chairs, 42 beds for boarders, 4 computers, a multimedia projector and a photocopier for the school.

Officials of the school had written to Air Pacific requesting financial assistance for the purchase of school furniture and equipment, and currently teachers travel to Ba to photocopy school lessons, exam papers and administrative documents.

The school has a roll of 62 students, 30 of whom are borders, while the school also has a kindergarten.
