Fiji rugby wing Napolioni Nalaga of the Pacific Islanders team has been suspended for 22 days by the International Rugby Board following his dismissal against France last weekend.

The Clermont player will therefore miss the Pacific Islanders match against Italy on Sunday, and then two matches for his club - at Mont-de-Marsan in the French Top 14 on November 29th and against Irish province Munster in the Heineken Cup on December 7th.

Nalaga received a red card from Welsh referee Nigel Owen after a head-high tackle forced Jean-Baptiste Elissalde to be stretchered from the field eighteen minutes into France's 42-17 win on Sunday.

The IRB commission judged the red card as justified as the tackle was dangerous, the Six Nations committee said in a statement.
