A Nakasi family is homeless after their three bedroom house was destroyed by fire yesterday afternoon.
Divisional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Keshri Lal believes that the fire started from the bedroom where the children were playing with matches.
The children's grandmother who was at home told police that the fire started from the bedroom and the children were earlier seen playing with matches.
Damage is estimated at $50,000.
Police have once again requested parents to closely monitor the whereabouts of their children while they are at home.
