Former Lautoka center Noa Nakaitaci has created history in world rugby by becoming the first Fijian to be selected in the French Rugby team to tour New Zealand. 

Nakaitaci who hails from Naluwai village, Naitasiri is the cousin of Virimi Vakatawa who many thought would be selected in the French squad. 

Nakaitaci was part of the Lautoka Rugby side in 2010 before moving to Clermont, and was also part of the Fiji under 18, 19 and 20.

The former Ratu Kadavulevu School student forced his way into the French squad and outclassed other big names.

The All Blacks will face France on June 8th in Aukland.
