The Naitasiri Provincial Council has today shown its full support to the Government led by Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.
There was a lengthy discussion held at the meeting venue today on whether the Council was to support the Government or not.
Council Chairman, Ilaitia Tuisese told the members to show their support, however there were some members who raised the issue as to why they had to support the current leadership.
The motion was put on the table and a show of hands was taken on the motion, and Tuisese confirmed that the majority of the members of the Naitasiri Provincial Council support the Bainimarama Government.
The Council members, led by the Chairman, Ilaitia Tuisese will now write a letter to the Prime Minister to show their full support.
