The Naitasiri Rugby Union has written to the President of the Fiji Rugby Union to step down from his position.

In a letter to the FRU, Naitasiri President Ilatia Tuisese said that Ro Filipe Tuisawau has used his position to promote his personal agendas and has worked outside the powers given to him under the FRU constitution.

Tuisese added that since assuming the position, Tuisawau have undermine the board and directly interfere in the operation of the FRU.

He reminded Ro Filipe that the board members were freely elected by member unions and he has no right to speak out against them publicly.

Tuisese went on to say that the FRU President has abused his office and it is with that in mind that they have asked him to do the honourable thing and vacate the position immediately.

Naitasiri is also expecting Ro Filipe to refrain from taking the Chair at the AGM next Saturday at the Police Academy in Nasova.
