The Naitasiri rugby team has received a major boost today after Police first-five eighth Amani Bosenawai was released by his Police club to play for Naitasiri in the Digicel Cup semifinal match against Nadroga.
Bosenawai is currently training with the Eastern Police team preparing for the challenge of the Commissioners Cup next month and coach Jiuta Ranubu has confirmed his release.
Looking at the points table, Lautoka lead the charge on 42 points, second is Nadroga on 41, third is Naitasiri on 38 and Northland is fourth on 34, while Nadi which has one more game is fifth on 32 points.
Naitasiri will meet Nadroga in the first Digicel Cup semifinal match to be held at Lawaqa Park on August 8th.
Lautoka will host the second semifinal on August 15th either against Nadi or Northland.
