Naitasiri players playing in the Colonial Farebrother Sullivan trophy this Saturday are out not only to wrestle the Cup from Nadi but to also impress the national selectors for the Europe tour and the upcoming IRB 7s series.
2007 Rugby World Cup hooker Vereniki Sauturaga, Nasoni Roko, Wise Vatuvoka, Ben Sadrugu, Apisalome Ratuyarawa are in the national 15s training squad while Lepani Nabuliwaqa is now back with the 7s team.
They will also have the services of former national U20 reps Anare Vakawaletabua and Kolinio Vunaki in a team that has been predicted to test Nadi from the opening whistle.
National selectors Mosese Taga said with this caliber of players Naitasiri stand a chance of beating Nadi, but the team has to play to their advantage.
Nadi will take on Naitasiri on Saturday at 3pm and live commentary on Viti FM.
